Last April, Sony released the long-anticipated Final Fantasy VII: Remake for Playstation 4 to great fanfare. The original, released for the Playstation in 1997, follows the journey of Cloud Strife and his companions in one of the games widely considered the greatest of all time.
Final Fantasy VII: Remake focuses, in great detail, on Cloud’s adventures in the city of Midgar with subsequent installments coming in the future to tell the entire story. With the release of the PS5 in November, it is inevitable the next installments of the game will be made for the next-gen console.
And, following suit with other recently released games, the first part of the FF7:Remake will get a makeover for the PS5 and will be released on June 10th with the addition of another character from the original game.
