The six-part series follows Mackie, Sam Wilson, and Stan, Bucky Barnes, in the post blip, post-Steve Rogers world six months after the events of Avengers Endgame. Coming on the heels of the widely successfully WandaVision run, it comes as no surprise that The Falcon and The Winter Soldier had a strong opening. Given how the first episode went, it is the first of many big weekends ahead for the show. This bodes well for upcoming Marvel series such as Loki which is set to premiere on the streaming platform on June 11th, 2011.
