Now that The Falcon and The Winter Soldier has concluded its six-episode run, Marvel Studios has announced that the fourth installment of Captain America is officially in the works according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier showrunner Malcolm Spellman will take the lead and it will (presumably) star Anthony Mackie as Captain America.

It shouldn’t come as shocking news considering the conclusion of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier opened the door for a bevy of future story arcs. In addition, at the end of Avengers Endgame, Steve Rogers set the foundation for Sam Wilson to eventually take the mantle of Captain America.
