Anime fans and Star Wars fans, unite. Star Wars: Visions is coming to Disney Plus on September 22nd and it looks legendary. The full trailer is here, introducing us to the world of Star Wars as interpreted by seven of the world’s best anime studios. Watch the full trailer below:
The series is going to allow talented anime studios like TRIGGER, Kinema Citrus, and Production I.G. to give their take on the world of Star Wars. New characters will be introduced, and there are some familiar character names on the call sheet as well. Also, the trailer looks visually stunning and shows that each studio is going to bring their own flair and style.
Along with the trailer came the announced voice casts for dubbed versions. It is a star-studded list, including Neil Patrick Harris, Allison Brie, Simu Liu, David Harbour, Kyle Chandler, Jordan Fisher, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Lucy Liu. That cast may be good enough to convince some to choose the dubbed version over the subbed version. Still, you can’t go wrong watching them in the original Japanese with subtitles.
Star Wars: Visions will drop on September 22nd on Disney Plus.
