Ep 2: Top 10 Married With Children Episodes
by Binge Corner Podcast Network on April 14, 2022 at 3:02 am
Jared Leto stars as Dr. Michael Morbius, our vampire hero. He does a good job of balancing the seriousness of Morbius’ condition with some classic Marvel humor. You have to have a little comedy with a concept as ridiculous as a vampire.
Latest Trailers
The rest of the cast is stacked as well. Tyrese Gibson plays Simon Stroud, an FBI agent who is hunting down Morbius. He’s signed to a three-picture deal, so expect him in future Sony Spider-verse movies. Matt Smith plays Loxias Crown, a friend of Morbius’ with the same blood disease. Adriana Arjona plays Mobius’ fiancée Martine Bancroft and Jared Harris plays Morbius’ mentor.
Keen-eyed observers will see lots of tie-ins to MCU and Sony properties. Mobius jokes at the end of the movie that he’s Venom. He also interacts with Michael Keaton’s Vulture, returning to the role from Spiderman: Homecoming in the MCU. There are also references to Oscorp with the same logo as The Amazing Spider-Man universe. A shot of the Daily Bugle also has references to Rhino & Black Cat.
The new Morbius trailer references Venom, we see Michael Keaton’s Vulture, Tobey’s Spider-Man painted on a wall and the Oscorp logo is from the TASM universe.
