Actor Ray Liotta, most known for playing the role of Henry Hill in Martin Scorsese’s Goodfellas, passed away at the age of 67.

According to Deadline, the actor reportedly died in his sleep while in the Dominican Republic filming the movie, Dangerous Waters. Per PEOPLE, no foul play is suspected at this time. He leaves behind his daughter Karsen and fiancee Jacy Nittolo.

Liotta lobbied hard for the role of Henry Hill which put him alongside actors Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci as he starred and narrated the story of the former mobster.
In addition to playing mobster Henry Hill in Goodfellas, a role that kickstarted his long career, Liotta played Shoeless Joe Jackson opposite Kevin Costner and James Earl Jones in Field of Dreams. He also starred alongside Johnny Depp in the movie Blow as Fred Jung, father of infamous drug trafficker George Jung, played by Depp.
Recently, Liotta starred in The Sopranos prequel movie, Many Saints of Newark and had several projects in the works prior to his passing.
